About Us

Rusk Tire & Auto was founded by Byron Rusk, a Houston native with a background in business administration from the University of Houston. With an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age, Byron launched Rusk Moving while still in school, building it into a successful company specializing in office moving and storage for local businesses. His passion for hands-on work and customer service eventually led him into the automotive industry, where he established Rusk Tire & Auto and began serving the community with dependable car care.

In 2018, Byron’s sons, Harrison and Ford Rusk, stepped in to carry the business forward. Harrison, a 10-year veteran of the Marine Corps and a University of Houston graduate, and Ford, a Texas State graduate, bring a strong combination of discipline, education, and modern perspective. Together, they continue to build on the foundation their father created while evolving the shop to meet today’s automotive needs.

At Rusk Tire & Auto, we’re proud to serve our community with honest, reliable service you can count on. Our commitment to blending time-tested values with today’s technology means your vehicle receives the highest level of care—delivered with the same integrity and personal attention that has defined our business from the start.
